Disaster
Relief Spotlight
Hurricane Season is here and the new Disaster Response Team at Community Life has been working hard to prepare our congregation and community for this year’s storms. The Team has been working with local and state government agencies and national Christian relief organizations to gather the best information and resources to help you prepare. When our homes are ready, we can respond to our neighbor’s needs and quickly serve our community after a storm. If you need information on preparing, please download a Community Life Hurricane Preparedness Guide or check out these links for more help.

Relief Assistance and Serving Opportunities
To respond to the growing needs of our community, we need volunteers like you to serve in a multitude of ways, including cutting down trees and raking yards but also making phone calls to check on elderly and neighbors with limited abilities, making preparedness kits, and assorted administrative tasks, among others. Please click the link to fill out the form and learn how to serve your neighbors and make a difference in challenging times. Training is available, so if you are willing, we can teach you.

Training
We believe it is the role of the church to equip and train people to do the work of the ministry. Sometimes that involves teaching volunteers how to serve Communion, lead a Children’s Bible lesson, run a chainsaw, facilitate a small group, perform CPR, pray with someone, operate a video camera, and many other opportunities. We update these training events throughout the year, so please discover the upcoming events below. If you need guidance, please ask Clint at clint@clc.life
