People

Community Life Values All People.

In an epic display of unimaginable love for all people, God took the first step and gave his son Jesus. Because God values People, we value people.

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” (NRSV))

Practical Faith

Community Life Values a Practical Faith.

Faith is meant to be put into action. When Jesus walked this Earth, he lived and taught about a better way to live our life for God. For Jesus, faith was not about what not to do in life, but rather, faith gives us the way to live life to the fullest.

Matthew 7:24, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (NRSV)

Connection

Community Life Values Connection.

At Community Life, we value connection because the source of our faith is the Connector. Faith in Jesus is the connecting point between the heart of God and the heart of humanity. At Community Life, we connect people… to Jesus, to other people, and to the greater story.


John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit because apart from me you can do nothing.” (NRSV)

Transformation

Community Life Values Transformation.

The essential and defining component of our lives is the presence of God. At Community Life, we value Transformation because when you spend time in the presence of God, you are transformed. God heals us, comforts us, guides us, strengthens us, and breathes new life into our souls.

Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (NRSV)
